Unemployment Compensation Update

Today we passed HB7005 which reforms the current Unemployment Compensation system. This legislation provides equality and fairness for both Floridians and businesses throughout our State. I am proud that the House chose to pass responsible legislation that changes the maximum number of weeks to 20, requires Floridians to complete an initial skills review following benefit eligibility and provides tax relief for business.
